A little help with your stuff
Support
Have a question or found something that needs attention? We’d like to hear from you.
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version if available, and a short description of what happened. Screenshots can help, but please remove personal information first. Never send passwords or verification codes.
Where is my inventory stored?
Your records and imported attachments are stored locally on your device. There is no app account, and the current version does not automatically sync inventory between devices.
Is my inventory backed up?
App data may be included in iCloud device backups or computer backups, depending on your settings. These are managed through Apple’s tools, not My Important Stuff. Check your backup settings and recent backup status. We cannot access or restore your backups for you.
A CSV or PDF export is a report, not a complete app backup. Save important exports somewhere other than only on your phone.
What can I export?
Inventory CSV exports contain the supported columns you select. Single-item PDF reports can include selected item details, photos, and receipts. Other documents can be shared individually. Review all selected information and attachments before sharing.
Are receipts separate from item photos?
Yes. Receipts have their own section and can include manually entered descriptions, quantities, prices, and tax details. Sharing an item photo does not automatically share its receipts.
How do I delete information?
Use the app’s delete controls to remove items or individual attachments. Deleting an item removes its associated saved records and attachments. Original files in Photos or Files are not deleted, and neither are previously exported or shared copies.
Deleting the app through iOS removes its local data; offloading the app can retain that data. Copies in backups must be managed separately.
Does the app use AI?
No. The current version uses information you enter manually and does not send inventory or attachments to an AI service.
